MYAM's Class Blog: Hikaru no Go

MYAM's Class Blog: Hikaru no Go:

Some students have left comments on this entry. So I reblog it here.
One of my favorite comics is "Hikaru no Go". As you may already know, it's very popular in Korea, too. The Korean title is literally translated into Japanese as "囲碁の王". (Originally published on 2006/04/13 01:07)

  1. Thanks for your comments, students.

The story starts like this: Hikaru, the main character, meets a ghost called Sai, who has "lived" since Heian Period. Sai used to be one of the best igo players in his time, and still loves playing igo. Hikaru isn't interested in igo at all first, but Sai wants to play igo so much and only Hikaru can see him, so Hikaru has to start playing igo. And it turns out Hikaru can be a gifted igo player.
